McHenry, IL, March 16, 2007-Supplier Systems Corporation, a leading provider of turnkey pack verification solutions, today announced that Jim Parker, chief technology officer, was named a “2007 Provider Pro to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine in its seventh-annual “Pros to Know” listing, which appeared in the magazine’s February/March 2007 issue.

Mr. Parker was nominated in the "Provider Pros to Know" category which recognizes individuals from a software firm, service provider, consultancy, analyst, or research firm who have personally helped raise the profile of supply chain and have increased the recognition of the importance of the supply chain as a strategic function within the enterprise.

"This year's ‘Provider Pros to Know’ are demonstrated thought-leaders in their respective supply chain segments," said Andrew K. Reese, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "Their efforts in developing the tools and processes necessary for supply chain transformation, and in promoting new approaches to supply chain enablement, are helping raise Supply Chain's status within the enterprise."

As the chief technology officer for Supplier Systems Corporation, Mr. Parker has more than thirty years of experience in the design, development, marketing and sales of automated systems, primarily in the retail marketplace. Prior to joining Supplier Systems Corporation, Mr. Parker was the co-founder of Foretell Corporation; developer of the first Windows-based Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) software product. He was also a co-founder of Vendor Logistic Services (in partnership with Sears Roebuck and Co.). Mr. Parker was named by the Journal of Electronic Commerce as one of the twenty-six founders of the $2 billion EDI industry in North America.

“This recognition further validates Jim’s level of passion for his work, and is a testament to the expertise, thought-leadership and innovation behind Supplier Systems Corporation’s order-filling solutions,” said Sandy Kallick, president and chief executive officer, Supplier Systems Corporation.
