856Express Version 6 Enhancements

The following describes a few of the many enhancements available to you when you upgrade to 856Express Version 6.

RFID Compliance.

Designed For: 856Express Users required to provide RFID Compliance labeling for their Customers.
With the addition of an RFID printer to your 856Express system, produce RFID labels to meet the Compliance requirements of Wal Mart, Target and other Customers.

Multiple Ship From Kits.
Designed For: 856Express Users operating as two or more companies in a single location or operating as a Third Party Logistics Company (3PL) filling Orders on behalf of your Customers in a single location:
Purchase a Ship From Kit to add to 856Express for each “company” shipping out of your facility. Include a Ship From in a Customer Order sent to 856Express and that Ship From will be used in 856Express Labels and Reports.

Batch Number, Lot Number, Serial Number Data Collection.
Designed For: 856Express Users needing to collect Batch Numbers, Lot Numbers or Item Serial Numbers while Order filling.
Maintain Batch and Lot information in 856Express using new Database Tables and Maintenance Screens. 856Express will prompt Users when Items requiring batch Number, Lot Numbers or Serial Numbers are scanned during packing.

VICS Bill of Lading Support:
Designed For: 856Express Users required to use the VICS Bill of Lading by Customers.
Maintain Country of Origin, HAZMAT and NMFC Class information in 856Express using new Database Tables and Maintenance Screens.

Wireless Pick Support:
Designed For: 856Express Wireless R/F Users using portable, handheld R/F scanners.
View unfilled Items and their unfilled quantities when packing a Customer Order in 856Express using a wireless scanner. Provides a simplified version of Paperless Picking.

Automatic Shipment Creation:
Designed For: 856Express Users able to assign Customer Orders to a Shipment before those Orders are filled.
Include shipment information in a Customer Order sent to 856Express and the Shipment will be automatically created in 856Express, eliminating key-entry of new Shipments. This supports and enhances the 856Express AutoLoad feature.

Enhanced AutoFill:
Designed For: 856Express Users packing Standard Case cartons or single Item pallets.Select an 856Express Pick Ticket, select an Item within the Pick Ticket, indicate the quantity of the Item available for Order filling and 856Express will automatically “build” the correct number of pallets of the Item, based upon the Items standard pallet quantity and automatically generate carton and pallet Compliance labels if required.

Enhanced Printing Controls.
Designed For: All 856Express Users.
Define the type and quantity of labels to be printed by 856Express for each Customer. Label types include pallet labels, pallet contents labels, carton labels and carton contents labels. Label Printer definitions now include your description of the printer’s location or name.
